Job summary

Academics is seeking an Art & Design teacher to work in the Stafford area, delivering engaging, skill-based art lessons for KS3 and KS4 (ages 11-16). You will inspire creativity, manage classrooms effectively, and support students' artistic development in a welcoming environment.

Applicants should hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have UK secondary school teaching experience, and be eligible to work in the UK. DBS Update Service preferred; daily supply work with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• The right to work in the UK.

The right candidate mut be able to deliver engaging, skill-based art lessons for children in a welcoming and inspiring environment and support students' artistic development, personalise their progress, and help build confidence and creativity.
