Career Teachers is working with a fantastic College in the heart of Leicester to find a passionate and forward-thinking Design Technology Teacher. Is this you?

Experience in a Secondary setting is essential, as well as experience teaching GCSE Level standard.

The ideal candidate would have a passion for their subject, advanced practical and theoretical knowledge, and classroom experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant and diverse college, amongst a strong team of teachers and senior leaders.

The School is looking for someone to work full-time and who is open to covering general lessons as needed.

• A passionate Teacher of Design Technology, Textiles, Food, or Graphics (QTS or ECT status)
• PGCE, SCITT, or other relevant teaching qualification
• Degree in Art, Design, or Engineering
• Ability to produce quality lessons and encourage participation
• Experience with KS3 & KS4 students
• Ability to motivate students to achieve the best results
• Motivation and passion for your subject are essential
