A leading company is seeking a full-time Art & Design Teacher for a supportive secondary school near the B13 area of Birmingham. The position is to start ASAP and may extend into the next term, offering an excellent chance for personal and professional growth in a dynamic teaching environment. Location: Near B13 Area, South Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Days: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £164–£220 per day (equivalent to £765–£1,110 per week, PAYE)
Connex Education is working with a friendly and well-resourced mixed mainstream secondary school near the B13 area of South Birmingham to appoint a full-time Art & Design Teacher.
This role is to start ASAP and continue until the end of the summer term, with potential to continue into September for the right candidate. You’ll be teaching Art & Design across KS3 and KS4 to mixed-ability groups in a supportive and welcoming department.

The Role:
Teaching Art & Design across KS3 & KS4
Full-time: 5 days per week
Start ASAP, until end of summer term (potentially longer)
Teaching mixed-ability classes in a supportive secondary school
Who We’re Looking For:
QTS, QTLS, ECTs, or experienced UK-based UQTs
Confident teaching Art & Design to secondary students
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
What We Offer:
Competitive PAYE pay: £164–£220/day (experience dependent)
