Colton Hills Community School in Wolverhampton is seeking a Design Technology Technician to provide a safe, efficient technical service to students and teachers, supporting the Art and Design curriculum.
The post is a 2-year fixed-term contract, with part-time or full-time hours considered. Applicants should be experienced with tools and machinery, and committed to health and safety standards; closing date 1 September 2026.

Our outcomes show that we are a successful school, with positive Progress 8 scores in our past three academic years. We are also a growing school, with 210 students in our current and next Year 7 – up from 161 previously – meaning that our student numbers are robust and the whole-school cohort will approach 1000 students. With a healthy financial picture and strong school governance in place, we are now seeking to expand our staff to create the best possible experience for our students every day, to develop their confidence and aspiration by surrounding them with inspiring adults delivering an exciting curriculum.

To provide an efficient, effective and safe technical service to students and teachers, making a contribution to ensuring the Art and Design Curriculum is delivered in accordance with current National standards to the satisfaction of the Governing Body.
This is a 2 year fixed Term post - Part time or Full time will be considered.
