Job summary

The Queen’s School in Chester is seeking a dedicated individual to support teaching and learning by preparing materials and equipment, maintaining inspiring learning spaces, and helping students engage with a wide range of artistic processes and media.

The postholder will have a proactive approach, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to safeguarding. The role supports the Art Department on a part-time, term-time basis with 15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Art & Design or relevant experience.
• Practical experience in a creative environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for lessons and activities.
• Maintain inspiring learning spaces and resources.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Art Department.
• Assist students to engage with a wide range of artistic processes and media.
