Job summary

The Queen’s School Chester is seeking a creative, highly organised Art Technician to support teaching and learning by preparing materials, maintaining inspiring spaces and helping students engage with a range of artistic processes.

The postholder will have practical experience in a creative environment, strong organisational and communication skills, a commitment to health and safety, and availability for 15 hours per week during term time.

• Qualifications in Art & Design or relevant experience.
• Practical experience in a creative environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and equipment for lessons.
• Maintain inspiring learning spaces in the Art Department.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Art Department.
• Assist students with a range of artistic processes and media.
