Job summary

St. Aidan’s Church of England High School in Harrogate is seeking an enthusiastic Art and Technology Technician (Food) to support the Head of Food and Textiles and the faculty with practical resources for lessons.

The role requires an organised, reliable person with good communication who can work independently and as part of a team, manage equipment and help students in a calm, proactive environment. Contract is permanent, 20.25 hours per week, term-time only, with closing date 9am on Thursday

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Art and Technology Technician (Food) to work within our highly successful Art and Technology Faculty. The successful candidate will support the Head of Food and Textiles with the smooth running of the department, working closely with colleagues across the faculty to ensure products and equipment are available during lessons.

We are looking for an organised and reliable individual with excellent communication skills who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a practical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage resources and equipment effectively. They will enjoy supporting young people in an educational environment and will bring a positive, proactive attitude to this important role.
