WHSmith Careers in Horley is seeking a friendly Sales Assistant to deliver excellent customer service in our store. You will work independently or with a team, maintaining our high store standards and helping customers find what they need.

Two part-time roles available: 15 hours and 22.5 hours per week, starting early shifts at 5 am. You’ll handle stock replenishment, visual merchandising, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient shopping experience.

As a Sales Assistant you’ll provide exceptional customer service and work independently or as part of a team to deliver our fantastic store standards. We want you, our customers, and our colleagues to be proud to share their journey with us. We are looking for 2 part time colleagues 15hrs a week and 22.5hrs a week 5am till 1pm.

Airport Requirements:

• 5 years continuous references – to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years’ worth of either employment or education references without any gaps
• Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful
• Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
