Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking an Area Veterinary Nurse to join a multi-site team across Essex. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care, support clinical standards, and cover 6–8 local brands with occasional cross-site shifts.

40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, TOIL for weekends/bank holidays, and a £375 monthly car allowance to travel between practices. Reporting to the Area Director, you’ll develop clinical skills through our Nurse Academy and Graduate Programme plus progression into senior

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with nursing and surgical care.
• Ability to work across multiple practices and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Admit and discharge patients for procedures and provide high-quality nursing care.
• Run nurse clinics and advise clients on preventative care and practice policies.
• Assist veterinary surgeons with surgery, anaesthesia, diagnostics, and inpatient care.
• Maintain accurate records and support reception duties as needed.
• Follow SOPs, health and safety, and infection control across nursing duties.
