Job description

Position: Area Security Officer

Location

St Helens and surrounding areas

Pay Rate

GBP 12.21 per hour

Hours

Minimum 42.5 hours per week on a contract basis

Shifts

6:45 AM / 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 5 out of 6 days from Monday to Saturday, with some additional requirements for Sundays and/or night shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Must be fully flexible
• Must hold an SIA licence
• Must have a full driving licence and own vehicle

Your Responsibilities

1. Greeting staff and visitors
2. Controlling access in and out of the building
3. Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are followed
4. Dealing with disturbances, issues, and security incidents
5. Handling first aid and incident reporting

Ideal Candidate

Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. You should be tech-savvy, as all administrative tasks are digital and paperless. The candidate should be aged 18 or over, confident in communication, a team player, and committed to providing friendly and professional service at all times.
