Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover Yorkshire & Humberside, selling safety barriers and related solutions to major end users. You will drive field sales, manage projects in an industrial context, and aim for a £1m+ turnover with a focus on new business.

The role requires robust field sales and business development capabilities, with strong exposure to safety products such as barriers, gates, bollards, and related protection systems.

Qualifications

• Must have field sales experience in industrial or safety solutions.
• Must have business development experience.
• Ideally product sales experience across height safety, safety gates, bollards, guard rails, industrial doors, high speed doors, shutters, rollers, balustrades, bumpers, wall coverings.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling safety solutions such as barriers, bollards, height restrictors and safety gates.
• Projects predominantly in the industrial market sector.
• Selling to large end users such as DHL, Nestle, BMW, JCR etc.
• Turnover target tbc but expected to be £1m+.
• Majority of time spent generating new business.

Industry Sector: Safety Barriers, Bollards, Height Restrictors, Safety Gates, Protection Barriers, Segregation Systems, Guard Rails, Industrial Doors, High Speed Doors, Shutters, Railings, Balustrades, Wall Protection, Bumpers, Industrial Sector, End Users, Area Sales Regional Sales, Business Development Managers, Account Managers

Area to be covered: Yorkshire & Humberside

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + £7,200 commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Safety Barriers & Solutions will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality range of safety solutions such as: safety barriers, bollard, height restrictors and safety gates
• Project predominately in the industrial market sector
• All of your time will be spent selling to large end users clients such as: DHL, Nestle, BMW, JCR etc
• Turnover target tbc however will be £1m+
• Majority of your time will be spent generating new business

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Safety Barriers & Solutions Systems with:

• Must have field sales experience either with aligned products or route to market experience (industrial doors / safety solutions OR end users customer exp)
• Must have business development experience
• Ideally product sales experience with the likes of: height safety, safety gates, bollards, guard rails, industrial doors, high speed doors, shutters, rollers, balustrades, bumpers, damage protection products and wall coverings
• Experience in solution based sales on quality not price
