Area Sales Manager – Livestock Feed (Beef & Dairy) - Field-based across the West Midlands UK- Competitive Salary + Bonus + Vehicle + Benefits

The Job:
A leading agricultural business is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to drive sales of livestock feed across the beef and dairy sectors. Covering a defined geographic region, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts while identifying and converting new opportunities. This is a customer-facing, solution-led role that requires a confident communicator, capable of building long-term relationships and delivering commercial results.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of beef and dairy customers
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Understanding customer needs and providing tailored nutritional solutions
  • Collaborating with technical and planning teams to deliver high service levels
  • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends, and regulatory changes
  • Representing the business at trade events and industry meetings
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting on sales activity
  • Ensuring compliance with pricing structures and company procedures

The Candidate:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales, account management, or business development

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A strong commercial mindset and the ability to work independently
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland
Desirable:
  • Experience in animal nutrition or livestock feed sales
  • Knowledge of cattle feeding practices and farm operations
