Job description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

At Saint-Gobain Ecophon, we are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our sales team, working with a client base that includes architects, main contractors, sub-contractors, and distributors.

This role involves managing our client base across the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions. You will be responsible for implementing and executing a targeted sales plan to enhance our market share.

Saint-Gobain Ecophon develops, manufactures, and markets acoustic products and systems that contribute to a healthy working environment by improving well-being and performance.

This position is home-based, with travel expected across the region, approximately 4 days per week.

What we're looking for:
  1. Experience in sales, preferably within construction, distribution, or similar industries
  2. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  3. Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation skills and market mapping
  4. Proven ability to develop and execute successful regional sales plans
  5. Proactivity and the ability to identify opportunities and solve problems
Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively service and grow opportunities within the East Midlands and Yorkshire client base
  2. Support contract negotiations and commercial deal closures
  3. Regularly visit customers to build and maintain key relationships
  4. Serve as the main point of contact between customers and internal stakeholders
