Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting an Area Sales Manager for Bathroom & Heating products to cover Yorkshire, North West and North East. You will drive field sales to independent bathroom showrooms and merchants, promoting a wide range of bathroom furniture, heating products and fittings.

The role requires proven field sales experience in the KBB sector, a network of showroom contacts, and a track record of building strong relationships with independent merchants.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into KBB showrooms and independent merchants.
• Established contacts within bathroom showroom channels.
• Proven track record of stability and long-term career at previous roles.
• Self-motivated, organized and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Sell a wide range of bathroom and heating products to independents.
• Spend time in the field visiting showrooms and merchants.
• Collaborate with internal sales team to maximise orders.
• Manage orders with typical values from £50 to £3k.

Area to be covered: Yorkshire, North West & North East

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + up to £10,000 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager Retail - Bathroom & Heating Products will involve:

• Field sales role selling a wide range of manufactured bathroom & heating products such as: bathroom furniture, showers, shower enclosures, sanitaryware, brassware, cabinets, mirrors, ventilation, lighting, basins, radiators etc
• All of your time will be spent selling to independent bathroom & retail showrooms and independent merchants
• Dealing with average order values of between £50-£3k
• Inheriting a well-established area currently turnover circa £700k per year
• Working in conjunction with an internal sales team

• Must have contacts within the bathroom showroom channels
• Ideally have contact within the independent merchant and national merchants
