Job summary

Dawsongroup Vans is seeking an Area Sales Manager to deliver agreed sales budgets while developing strategic local and national customer accounts. You will combine your own sales activity with local business development, helping Dawsongroup Vans identify new opportunities and strengthen its market position across the Ipswich branch area.

You will be commercially focused, customer minded and capable of developing relationships across customers, colleagues and different Business Units.

Job description

  • Develop strategic local and national accounts, building strong and lasting customer relationships.
  • Convert new business opportunities through leads, referrals and proactive prospecting.
  • Lead local business development by engaging and motivating sales and hire desk personnel.
  • Act as the local figurehead and representative for Dawsongroup Vans.
  • Identify and develop potential markets across the geographical area covered by the Ipswich branch.
