Area Sales Manager - Homebased / Field Sales – Brighton/Hastings

Up to £37,000 + great bonus, company car or car allowance & home-based contract

At Brakes, we have ambitious growth plans. If you are currently in Field Sales or have the talent and ambition to thrive in the Food Service sales industry, we have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Independent Sales Team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build and leverage strong customer relationships within the independent sector.
  • Grow and retain customers, delivering profitable volume growth against targets.
  • Partner with customers to understand their growth plans, add value, and offer practical solutions and products.
  • Monitor competitor activity and proposals to ensure your customers receive the best local solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to understand new customer requirements and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Brakes in your local market.

You should be highly service-oriented, putting the customer at the center of everything you do. Demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and a drive to succeed, with a proven track record of meeting targets. Be proactive in your development, seeking continuous improvement through learning and leveraging diverse skills and training programs. There are ample opportunities to progress into various commercial roles.

Confidence with our modernization initiatives and new technologies is important. Experience with Salesforce, while not essential, would be advantageous.
