Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance team, where as an Area Sales Manager within our Construction & Recycling business you will generate new business within your designated area, whilst also building on existing business with our valued customers.

This role involves being on the road meeting customers face-to-face. Applications must have a valid drivers licence and be willing to travel. We’re currently flexible about location and open to applications from suitable candidates based anywhere in England.

Our ideal candidate will possess great enthusiasm and drive for generating revenue with evidence of “going the extra mile” coupled with strong client focus, a flexible and resilient attitude. Knowledge or experience withing the Construction & Recycling sectors would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively sources sales from within the allocated geographical location either by directly prospecting the existing customer base, sourcing new customers or through dealer introducers.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets set through financing and associated products.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets, negotiating terms of an agreement and closing sales, gathering market and customer information.
  • Make accurate, rapid quotations and provide customers with the relevant information to close the deal.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Previous experience with Asset finance
  • Industry experience and knowledge of the Construction & Recycling Industries and associated equipment.
