Client Profile

Our client is a multi-site distribution company specializing in technical products, now expanding abroad. Their product range is vast and supplied via multi-channel routes to both domestic and B2B sectors. This rapid growth has created new roles, including the need for an energetic & proven Area Sales Manager.

Role Summary

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Southwest, responsible for selling the company's products to an established customer base in Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Chichester, Yeovil, Salisbury, Basingstoke, and surrounding areas. The role involves working externally for 4 days and 1 day in the Bristol office.

The successful candidate will promote and sell products to M&E Contractors, OEMs, Distributors, and represent the company at trade exhibitions. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities and working closely with management and internal sales teams to maintain service levels and pursue new growth.

Experience Needed

Applicants should have a proven sales track record within Electrical Wholesaling, Manufacturing, or Distribution. Excellent communication skills, drive, and ability to build long-term relationships are essential. Good time management and planning skills are required to maximize sales efforts. Candidates must be self-motivated, professional, and outgoing.
