Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the S postcode area in the United Kingdom. You will drive sales of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment to diverse business customers, collaborating with other departments to maintain service levels and customer retention.

Your role focuses on maximizing opportunities, meeting volume targets, and delivering accurate forecasts. A comprehensive commission package, a company car, and a strong support structure

Qualifications

• Direct sales experience (B2B) is essential.
• Industry experience in Capital Equipment or Engineering is valued.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong business acumen and ability to forecast and plan.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships and develop business opportunities with existing customers.
• Hit volume targets, market share and coverage.
• Plan prospecting activities and maintain required sales activity levels.
• Provide accurate weekly forecasts and quotes.
• Undertake site surveys and identify customer requirements.
• Present quotes and financial solutions to customers.
• Demonstrate products where appropriate.
