Area Sales Engineer CNC Machinery

Our client is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to drive business growth and support both new and existing customers within the steel machining sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with experience selling high-value equipment to join a market leader in CNC machinery.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to promote products and services to prospective clients.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers, anticipating their needs and advising on suitable machinery solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers through calls, meetings, and detailed reports.
  • Represent the company professionally at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
  • Negotiate and close sales in line with agreed monthly and annual targets.
  • Respond to technical and commercial queries, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive company-wide success.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring accurate financial planning and record-keeping.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in selling high-value capital equipment.
