Job summary

BMS Engineering Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to cover the Wales and Bristol region. You will sell formwork and falsework solutions on hire and sale into main contractors and civil engineers, focusing on high-rise and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a field-based sales background in construction, a proven ability to win new business and manage accounts, and a full valid driving licence. A strong track record of selling technical construction solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience in construction engineering or similar.
• Proven track record in winning new business and managing accounts.
• Experience selling/hiring technical or design-led construction solutions.
• Full and clean UK driving licence; able to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Sell a market-leading range of formwork and falsework solutions on hire and sale.
• Target Main Contractors and Civil Engineering firms on multi-project sites.
• Grow the Wales & Bristol region with channel partners and end users.

Area Sales Engineer

The Role:

The Area Sales Engineer will be covering the Wales & Bristol region for this global leader in temporary works solutions. In this role the Area Sales Engineer will be selling a market-leading array of formwork & falsework solutions on a hire & sales basis into Main Contractors & Civil Engineering businesses working on a host of construction & infrastructure projects – specifically high-rise projects in the region. The Area Sales Engineer will be inheriting a region that has great growth potential having had excellent coverage for a number of years.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Field sales background within the construction engineering sector
• Have a track record with new business and account management
• Have sold/hired a technical, or design led, construction solution
• Full & Clean Driving licence
• Are verse in selling direct to end users

Salary:

£40,000 – £50,000 Basic Salary + £15k-£20k OTE, Company Car (Hybrid options), 25 days plus stats, generous pension contribution, healthcare options, wider business employee benefits platform.
