AOL is seeking an Area Process Operator to operate and monitor assets at our Effluent Treatment Plants in the UK. You will respond to alarms, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and work with the maintenance lead to keep processes efficient and compliant.
You will collect data from the SCADA system, analyse trends, support optimisation initiatives, and ensure safe operation with housekeeping, on-call duties, and contractor coordination.

Area Process Operator - (Industrial Wastewater Treatment Projects)The Area Process Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring and maintenance of the assets associated with Aqua Operations Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs).The Area Process Operator will be expected to implement monitoring control activities and operational changes to ensure the ETPs operates reliably and efficiently to ensure discharge compliance.The Area Process Operator will conduct all required tasks as required (both planned and reactive), responding to alarms and will make process decisions based on monitoring of the plant SCADA system.The Area Process Operator will also carry out planned maintenance and reactive unplanned maintenance tasks (assisting the plant maintainer for complex tasks) should they arise, ensuring the process assets are in as good condition as possible. The role requires that the process and assets are operated at optimum performance at all times.The Area Process Operator will also be expected to maintain analytical data into a computer-based system to record plant performance and be able to use the trends and data to make proactive decisions in conjunction with the Plant Manager
