Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire in Epsom is seeking an Area Plant & Tool Fitter to keep our fleet in top condition and support branches across the region. You will inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, train colleagues, and help test new gear while collaborating with local branches to cut repair costs.

A driving licence and a plant maintenance qualification are required, with on-site training offered. We value proactive, hands-on people who enjoy practical work and can adapt to flexible hours

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised qualification in plant servicing or maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel to branches across the region.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, inspecting, and repairing plant and tool equipment to high standards.
• Working with local branches to supply or recover parts and reduce repair costs.
• Delivering technical training to colleagues to keep skills current.
• Trialling new equipment and supporting fleet innovation.
• Collaborating with the wider hire management team to keep operations running smoothly.

• Pitching in as part of the wider hire management team to keep operations running smoothly
