Job summary

Evri in the East Region is seeking an Area Operations Manager to join the Depot Leadership Team, supporting Normanton, Lutterworth, Sheffield and Peterborough. You will lead multi-site operations, deputise for the Area Manager and drive cost, quality and service improvements.

This role requires strong leadership, CPC qualification (or progress towards it), transport compliance and health & safety focus, and the ability to mentor teams while using data to raise KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Leader with experience managing remote teams and multi-site operations.
• CPC qualification (or working towards it).
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance, health & safety (NEBOSH is a plus).
• Excellent communicator capable of mentoring and motivating teams.
• Analytical, KPI/MI focused with cost-control skills.

• Be the go-to transport expert, driving continuous improvement and upskilling your team.

• CPC qualified (or working towards it – we’ll support you!).
• Skilled in transport compliance, health & safety (NEBOSH is a plus), and operational excellence.

• Analytical and solutions-focused, with a strong grasp of KPIs, MI, and cost control.
• Comfortable working across shifts and a 24/7 operation.
