Job summary

Motorclean Ltd. is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee customer sites in Crawley and surrounding areas. You will manage daily operations, promote excellent customer service, and support growth across the UK network.

The role requires automotive industry experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and a full UK driving license. You will travel regularly to sites, ensure safe working practices, and recruit operators as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Automotive industry experience, ideally within vehicle preparation.
• Be resourceful and proactive in managing sites and client relationships.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and presentation skills to customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator with clear written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail to ensure quality and compliance.
• Hold a Full UK Driving License.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must have a valid personal UK bank account in your own name.
• Be a team player and collaborative under senior management direction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality service within budgets and timescales.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and operators.
• Ensure operations meet requirements, compliance, and protect the business reputation.
• Deliver and report on performance against business plans.
• Share best practices and adapt to senior management directives.
• Manage new site launches and inductions.
• Conduct regular reviews with customer contacts.
• Travel to all sites regularly and complete audits with the team.
• Manage team absences and recruit operators as needed.
• Enforce health and safety policies and promote safe-working practices.
