Job summary

Motorclean Ltd in Kent is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee customer sites across Kent and surrounding areas, ensuring high service levels and efficient operations. You will travel between sites, manage audits, launches, recruitment, and promote safety while collaborating with senior management to support growth.

You will lead by example, drive best practices, and maintain strong relationships with customers and operators to ensure outstanding service delivery.

Qualifications

• Automotive industry experience, ideally within vehicle preparation.
• Resourceful and proactive.
• Negotiation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communicator.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Full driving license.
• Right to work in UK.
• Must have a valid personal UK bank account.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality service within agreed budgets and timescales.
• Develop a close working relationship with the customer and operators.
• Ensure the business exceeds operational requirements, is fully compliant and mitigates reputational risk.
• Deliver results required within business plans and report on performance.
• Drive and share best practice across the business and adapt to changes from senior management.
• Responsible for new site launches and inductions.
• Conduct regular reviews with customer contacts.
• Travel to all sites regularly and complete audits with the team.
• Manage absences within the team including annual leave and sickness.
• Recruit operators as required using all recruitment methods.
• Enforce company health & safety policies and promote safe-working practices.
