Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking an Area Manager to lead four venues with growth to six, across the South Coast. You will coach General Managers and their teams, roll out training and initiatives, and drive membership, food & drink, and retail growth.

Expect regular site visits to maintain top standards and ensure safety and staff engagement. You will travel across the South Coast, inspire high performance, and deliver consistent service excellence while managing HR and operational details to keep

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple venues in leisure, hospitality, or retail.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop managers and front-line teams.
• Strong focus on guest experience, standards, and service quality.
• Hands-on with scheduling, wage control, and HR issues.
• Willingness to travel across the South Coast to maintain site performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Heads of Department.
• Drive performance through strategic plans, reviews, and coaching.
• Champion guest experiences and operational excellence across all sites.
• Roll out training, improvements, and initiatives with central support.
• Grow revenue through memberships, F&B, and retail opportunities.
• Visit each site regularly to ensure standards, safety, and engagement.
• Oversee people management and complex HR matters.
• Address guest feedback and service challenges.
• Support delivery of education programmes and instructor performance.

You'll oversee a portfolio of four buzzing venues (growing to six once you've hit top speed), supporting passionate managers and their teams to deliver amazing experiences every time. With activities ranging from high-octane attractions to laid-back social fun, no two days are ever the same!

Role

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Heads of Department.
