Join Our Team as an Area Health & Safety Advisor at Trisk Management & Consultancy

We are seeking an experienced Area Health & Safety Advisor to join our expanding team. This role involves overseeing the implementation of our safety management system across various sites throughout the UK.

Location: This position requires travel to our sites across the UK.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with emergency duties as required.

About the Role:

As an Area Health & Safety Advisor, you will oversee the safety management system across our branch network, providing proactive advice and support to various branches and divisions. A passion for promoting a positive safety culture, relevant qualifications, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. You will have opportunities to travel to different locations within the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections, health and safety audits, risk assessments, and investigations across branches.
• Advise and support employees and liaise with enforcement authorities such as HSE.
• Maintain and improve the safety management system.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• NEBOSH diploma, relevant degree, or NEBOSH GC with 3+ years' experience, and TechIOSH membership or above.
• Proven ability to conduct gap analyses, create policies, and perform risk assessments.
• Strong communication, IT skills, and time management.
• Full UK driving license.
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Desirable but Not Essential:

• Experience in the motor industry or construction health and safety.
• Additional training such as BOHS asbestos training or SMSTS.
