Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is a leading nationwide utility services provider with c.5000 employees and a strong turnover. We seek a target-driven sales professional to service existing customers, develop new business and promote all company services.

You will support regional managers, manage CRM inputs, and pursue targets while preparing quotations and RAMS for site activities across the UK. This is a full-time, on-site role with regional travel and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Business to Business Sales experience essential.
• Service industry sales experience ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential.
• CRM/database input experience and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Managers and the depot in achieving budget sales targets.
• Assist in the management of the sales where required.
• Input information in CRM database.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Produce and maintain quotation files and update frequently.
• Produce and maintain individual client records.
• Attend conference/seminars/exhibitions to promote sales.
• Produce projected sales figures and reports with detail.
• Complete accurately any sales orders for division's Operations department.
• Provide quotations for clients when requested.
• Interface with clients to provide best possible solutions.
• Assist in debt collection as required.
• Organise structured sales development within designated area.
• Provide detailed information to Marketing Dept relative to key accounts.
• Carry out customer care duties.
• Source new business to promote growth.
• Ensure minimum profit requirements ( EBITDA ) are achieved on sales orders.
• Secure and complete tender documents with bid team.
• Plan and attend site visits and relay information to operations.
• Produce RAMS for sites attended.

Department:

Drainage/Depot Network

consists of a strategically located depot network across the UK, spanning from Aberdeen to Plymouth. Enabling rapid response to customer requirements and providing round-the-clock coverage, 365 days a year.

This extensive footprint allows Lanes to combine local responsiveness with national capability, ensuring consistent service standards while maintaining close relationships with regional customers and infrastructure partners.

Purpose of the role:

To service the requirements of the existing customer base, develop and sustain new business clients and promote the sale of all of the company's services.

Skills & Experience:

• Business to Business Sales experience essential
• Service industry sales experience - ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential
