Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking an Area Dental Nurse to support our practices across Glasgow, Scotland. You will bring flexibility and a reassuring approach to different teams to deliver excellent patient care wherever you work.

Travel between practices is essential; a full UK driving licence and your own transport are required. You will be part of PortmanDentex, a leading dental group supporting more than 370 practices across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Active GDC registration with solid dental nursing experience.
• Full UK driving licence with own transport and willingness to travel between practices.
• Organised and adaptable approach with ability to maintain high standards in unfamiliar environments.
• Positive communication style and commitment to first-class patient service.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and dental practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support agreed practices across Scotland (Glasgow region) and travel between sites as required.
• Provide high-quality chairside assistance and support to dental teams.
• Assist with patient flow, sterilisation, and room setup across multiple practices.

Join PortmanDentex as an Area Dental Nurse, supporting our practices across Glasgow Scotland. • Highly competitive hourly rate from £17 ph plus all travel fully expensed
• Supporting agreed practices across: Scotland (agreed at interview)
• Travel between practices is essential, so you will need a full UK driving licence and your own transport

About you

You’ll be an experienced Dental Nurse who enjoys variety, builds relationships quickly and is confident in different working environments. You’ll also have:

• Active GDC registration with a good level of dental nursing experience
• A full UK driving licence, your own transport and the flexibility to travel between the practices covered by the role
• An organised and adaptable approach, with the confidence to maintain high standards in unfamiliar environments
• A positive communication style and a genuine commitment to first-class patient service
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and various dental practice management systems
