Job summary

PortmanDentex is seeking an Area Dental Nurse to support our practices across Bude, Wadebridge, St Austell and Truro. You will bring flexible skills and a reassuring approach to different teams, helping deliver excellent patient care wherever you work.

The role offers part-time hours across three days per week with a highly competitive rate from £16.50 per hour plus travel fully expensed, requiring a full UK driving licence and transport to travel between practices.

Qualifications

• Active GDC registration with dental nursing experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport; ability to travel between practices.
• Organised and adaptable with high standards in unfamiliar environments.
• Strong communication and patient-service focus; confident with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental nursing across multiple practices in Bude, Wadebridge, St Austell and Truro.
• Support agreed practices and ensure high patient care across sites.
• Travel between practices is required to support rotation and coverage.

About You

You’ll be an experienced Dental Nurse who enjoys variety, builds relationships quickly and is confident in different working environments. You’ll also have:

• Active GDC registration with a good level of dental nursing experience
• A full UK driving licence, your own transport and the flexibility to travel between the practices covered by the role
• An organised and adaptable approach, with the confidence to maintain high standards in unfamiliar environments
• A positive communication style and a genuine commitment to first-class patient service
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and various dental practice management systems
