Job summary

HDR seeks a Senior Leader in London to guide the Building Commissioning business class. You will collaborate with Principals, manage staff, and align technical delivery with budgets and schedules. The role drives forecasting, resource planning, and mentoring across diverse teams.

The ideal candidate has a decade of leadership experience, professional registration, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects while upholding HDR values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Maintains professional engineering registration and has relevant technical experience.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other area leaders, managers and marketing teams.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture and values.

Responsibilities

• Represent HDR and BES with a client/customer service mindset.
• Lead the Area BES Leadership Team and motivate staff.
• Coordinate workload with Project Managers and Team Leads.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and delivery quality for the Structural section.
• Forecast short-, mid-, and long-term plans for the business class.
• Provide technical and professional guidance and staff development.
