Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an Experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to deliver high service standards and meet SLA agreements while following cleaning schedules. The role is permanent, part-time (30 hours per week) with a shift pattern of 15:00-21:30, Monday to Friday, at a Birmingham location in the West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory and cleaning experience, strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to lead a team while following

• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard, including rostering and shift coverage.
• Provide technical training and ensure Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and COSHH documents are followed.
• Monitor cleanliness standards, distribute uniforms, and manage stock levels; perform audits and staff support.
• Address issues professionally and escalate to line manager when necessary; manage RTW and 1-to-1s.
• Be available to work on additional sites when required.

We're looking for an Experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Rate of Pay: £14.93 per hour

Position Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Part Time

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 15:00-21:30 Monday to Friday

Location: GPA, Stephenson Street, Birmingham, West Midlands, England B2 4BH

Contract: Government

Role Responsibilities

• Manage a cleaning team across multiple sites, including recruitment and staff development. To include completing training records, associated documents and updating both folders and online documents.
• Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard. To included compiling rosters, scheduling, covering shifts and all related tasks
• Provide technical training and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed. To include risk assessments, COSHH and related documents.
• Monitor cleanliness standards, distribute uniforms, and manage stock levels. To include audits and staff support where required.
• Address issues professionally and esc to line manager when necessary. To include RTW, 1 to 1s and associated tasks.
• Available to work on additional sites where required.
