Job summary

CPJ Recruitment represents a leading luxury interiors brand and is seeking an ambitious Area Account Manager to cover a Thames Valley territory from home. You will visit retailers, showrooms and stockists, building strong relationships and presenting premium interior ranges.

No prior field sales experience is required as full training and a clear path to senior roles are provided. The role is field-based with a home patch and a company car, offering a competitive package and progression

Responsibilities

• Own patch from home visiting retailers, showrooms and stockists across a defined Thames Valley area

• Present premium interiors collections through product demonstrations and training
• Execute national account plans locally to drive sales growth
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer teams on promotions and compliance

Location: Field based, covering OX, RG, SL, HP, LU and MK postcodes (Oxford, Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, Luton, Milton Keynes)

Package: 30,000 basic + 5,000 bonus paid monthly ( 35,000 OTE) + hybrid or electric company car

Ready to swap the shop floor, sales desk or customer service phone for your own territory and company car? This is your opening. A leading luxury interiors brand is looking for an ambitious Area Account Manager to represent stylish, design-led products for the home across a prime territory packed with premium retailers. You do not need field sales experience. You need drive, personality and great organisation, and you will be fully trained to do the rest.

The role

• Own your patch from home, visiting a portfolio of retailers, showrooms and stockists across the Thames Valley, Chilterns and Milton Keynes
• Build strong relationships with store managers, showroom teams and sales staff, becoming their go-to expert for the brand
• Bring premium interiors collections to life through product presentations, displays and in-store training
• Put national account plans into action locally, turning strategy into real sales growth in every location
• Work alongside sales, marketing and customer teams to launch promotions and make sure every agreement is followed through
• Spot new opportunities to win display space, grow ranges and increase market share
• Plan your own diary, report on progress and hit clear, achievable targets

About you

Attitude matters more than experience here. You might currently be:

• A showroom or retail sales assistant in interiors, furniture or home products
• An internal sales, telesales or customer service professional
• A trade counter or branch based sales assistant
• A merchandiser or field marketing representative
• A recent graduate keen to build a career in sales
