Job summary

SUCCESS TALENT is seeking an Architectural Technologist in London for a permanent, hybrid role. You will develop architectural drawings for retail projects, coordinate schedules and budgets, and supervise both pre-construction and on-site activities.

Requirements include experience in shopfitting and retail design, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a driving licence for site visits; a PM-related degree is preferred. This role offers hybrid working arrangements and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Create plans and drawings outlining architectural design of projects.

• Coordinate with maintenance partner to uphold standards across portfolio.

• Interpret detailed working drawings and schemes; supervise pre-construction and on-site activities.

Architectural Technologist - Multichannel Retailer

A high profile Architectural Technologist opportunity with a multichannel retailer has come up, as this fun loving brand continues to expand its retail estate in UK.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect with a background within the retail industry who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
• Setting project schedules
• Working closely and support Head of Design in meeting new store opening deadlines
• Manage the costing process considering materials and costs according to set budgets
• Project management of current retail estate
• Processing & liaison with their maintenance partner to ensure all maintenance standards are upheld across retail portfolio.
• Managing, sourcing products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing.
• Able to work with and interpret detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes.
• Supervising work at the pre-construction phase and on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in shopfitting & retail design processes.
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• High proficiency in MS Office
• Understanding of Autocad
• Previous experience in the Project management sector (construction/fitout) sector
• Can understand detailed drawing pack
• Excellent attention to detail
• Degree in project management/Construction related field. Interior architecture with background in Project management will also be accepted.
• Full Driving licence, as the role requires site visits and attending Head Office in central London weekly.
