Role: Architectural Technologist

We are a growing company which specialises in detailed design phase and construction packages of drawings.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Architectural Technologist looking to join a new and exciting company. We work on a variety of projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sector and with some of the biggest house developers in the country.

In this role, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, based predominantly in our office in Sudbury, Suffolk. You will be working on multiple projects simultaneously, assisting in the production of building regulation and construction drawings. You will also support the team in coordinating building control submissions and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

·Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD. (Revit optional)

·Liaising with consultants, contractors, and local authorities.

·Assisting in the coordination of technical design and construction detailing.

Requirements:

·Proficiency in AutoCAD. (essential)

·Qualification in Architectural Technology. (Bachelor of Science or equivalent)

·3+ years post qualification experience.

·Experience with Revit. (optional)

·Strong understanding of the latest UK building regulations and planning processes.

·Experience working on residential projects (developer-led schemes preferred)

·Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·Driver’s license, with own car within commutable distance to office in Sudbury, Suffolk
