Job description

We are looking for some talented professionals to join our team in both the Sevenoaks and Lichfield offices. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects ranging from healthcare to education and residential schemes. Overall Responsibilities

1. To prepare drawings and specifications and administer contracts.
2. To meet or exceed the performance objectives agreed with the Directors from time to time.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Prepare outline, scheme, general arrangement, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD format. Specify materials and products, prepare description of works, trade preambles and preliminaries. Prepare budget estimates.
2. Prepare presentation boards, layouts, material sample boards and the like.
3. Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC, Planning Corporation Scheme Design Standards, Town Planning Acts and all other Acts of Parliament, Legislation, Bye-Laws etc., affecting building design and construction.
4. Prepare risk assessments and Health and Safety Plans in connection with the Construction, Design and Management Regulations.
5. Inspect building work on site to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, issue contract instructions, attend site meetings.
6. General responsibilities also include ensuring that drawings are stored correctly and that computer documents are backed up on a monthly basis.
7. To attend site to carry out measured surveys of existing buildings as may be required.
