? Contract Architectural Technologist – Outside IR35

? Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 remote)

? Contract Length: 6 months (strong potential for extension)

We’re working with a respected Manchester-based architectural practice that’s seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join them on a contract basis. With several large-scale residential and commercial schemes moving into technical stages, they need someone who can hit the ground running.

You’ll be supporting the team across RIBA Stages 3–5, producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations.

? Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality construction and tender packages using Revit.
• Coordinate with structural and M&E consultants to resolve technical challenges.
• Apply up-to-date knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Attend occasional site and coordination meetings (as required).
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure buildability of designs.

? Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in UK architectural practice.
• Strong proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD a plus).
• Proven track record on residential or commercial projects.
• Confident working independently and managing deadlines.
• Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge.
