Job summary

MAS Design Consultants Ltd in Leeds is seeking an Architectural Technician to join our team. You will assist in designing, developing and executing residential and commercial projects, with a focus on CAD workflows using AutoCAD, Revit and ArchiCAD.

You will conduct measured site surveys, prepare Building Regulation drawings, and support planning submissions while ensuring compliance with building codes. Excellent detailing and communication are essential for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and ArchiCAD.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
• Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through to completion.
• Conduct site visits for measured surveys and assess project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, planning consultants and party wall consultants to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Maintain organised records of project files, drawings, and correspondence.
• Experience of producing Building regulation drawings & specifications and planning applications.
