Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Flintshire is seeking an Architectural Technician to join a well-established multidisciplinary practice focused on residential projects. You will prepare and submit planning applications, develop drawings from concept to detailed construction packages, and attend site visits to ensure standards are met.

The role requires a relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, UK practice experience, and strong AutoCAD skills to support the team through all design stages.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or degree in Architectural Technology.
• Previous post-qualification experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK practice.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications, drawings, and associated documentation.
• Develop initial planning proposals through to detailed construction drawings.
• Attend site visits and ensure projects meet the required technical standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender packages, and detailed working drawing packages.
