Job description

Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join a creative design consultancy based just outside of Coventry city centre. The company are a well-established, multiple award-winning practice.

The studio has built a strong reputation in the industry and now boast an enviable portfolio of clientele throughout the UK. The core sectors the practice work within include; Hospitality, Retail and Leisure, with a mixture of both repeat and new clients using their services.

You will be working on a national roll out of a major restaurant brand, meaning a history of working within the hospitality would be highly advantageous when applying for this role. This position is an extremely varied role, and will see you working within a number of teams within the office, focusing on both Architectural/technical detailing along side more creative design orientated work in the Interior Design team.

An Architectural Technician with solid technical and design capabilities would be ideal for this position, an individual with circa 5-8 years of industry experience would be looked on very favourably. If you're an Architectural Technician seeking a more varied role to what you would expect from a traditional architectural practice, this could be the position for you.

Requirements of the Architectural Technician as follows:

• Degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
• 5-8 years of industry experience, ideally within an architectural or interior design background.
• Experience in varied sectors, ideally including Hospitality.
• AutoCAD & Vectorworks proficiency.
• Versatile and able to adapt to different teams, challenges and projects on a regular basis.

In return, the successful Architectural Technician will be offered a salary in the region of 30,000- 40,000 per annum dependent on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package that includes working from home option.
