Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Architectural Technician for a Croydon-based role. You will contribute to technical drawing packages, focus on residential schemes, and ensure UK building regulations compliance using Revit.

Ideal candidates hold a Degree in Architectural Technology, have PQE in residential projects, and strong communication skills. A full UK driving licence and commutable distance to Sutton are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent is required.
• Post-qualification experience in residential projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential for producing technical drawing packages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of high-quality technical drawing packages.
• Work primarily on residential schemes from planning to completion.

• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.

  About you

  • Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology
  • Substantial post-qualification experience, ideally in residential projects
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive in approach
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based within a commutable distance of Sutton
