Architectural Technician in South London

I'm currently assisting a close-knit Architectural Consultancy based just south of London in their search for an Architectural Technologist on a permanent basis. If you're a technically oriented Architect with the required skill set, you may also be considered.

This role is ideal for Revit users. The company exclusively uses Revit and has done so for many years, so at least 3 years of solid Revit experience is essential.

The work involves domestic residential schemes, including private residential projects and extensions within the Croydon and Surrey areas. A portfolio demonstrating similar work would be advantageous. Experience with schemes within Greater London and Surrey areas is a plus.

With the company's size, you'll have the opportunity to work across all RIBA stages and gain comprehensive knowledge of the entire process. Initially, however, you'll be working within RIBA stages 3 and 4, so a good understanding of the planning process is required. You should have experience with planning application drawings, pre-application work, and detailing packages. Site experience is not mandatory but would be beneficial. Given the office location, a car and driving license are necessary.

Occasionally, you'll work alongside clients, so excellent communication skills are essential. Previous client-facing experience would be advantageous.

This is a permanent role starting immediately, with a salary expectation of around £35,000, depending on ability and experience.
