Job summary

Unknown architectural practice near Exeter is seeking an Architect or Architectural Technologist to join the team at a senior level, leading technical delivery of housing projects. The role involves producing detailed drawings, coordinating with clients and consultants, and mentoring junior staff on-site with a focus on Building Regulations compliance.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in a UK practice, strong housing sector experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit preferred;

Qualifications

• UK Architectural qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a UK architectural practice.
• Strong background in housing projects, ideally with developer clients.
• Experience across industrial, leisure, hotels and commercial sectors beneficial.
• Confident managing projects on site and overseeing technical delivery.
• Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential; Revit preferred with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of projects from planning through to construction.

Architect OR Architectural Technician, outskirts of Exeter, £30k - £45k DOE

A well-established architectural practice just outside of Exeter is looking for an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team.

This is a senior level position suited to someone confident leading the technical delivery of projects, particularly within the housing sector. Experience working with developer-led residential schemes is highly desirable, although experience from other backgrounds will also be considered.

The practice delivers a range of projects including residential, industrial and commercial schemes, with leisure and hotel experience viewed as a bonus.
