An opportunity for an Architectural Technician has arisen with a leading consultancy specializing in Architecture, Planning, and Urban Design in Bristol.

The consultancy has over 20 years of experience, specializing in residential architecture. They are well known for their reliable work, having produced over 30,000 homes in the past 15 years. They focus on delivering the best possible design solutions for every project across England and Wales.

The company is ideally looking for an Architectural Technician with prior experience working with a housing developer, a strong knowledge of planning applications and building regulations, and proficiency in Revit.

The Role:

• Managing and developing a small team
• Producing accurate working drawing packages using AutoCAD and Revit
• Preparing layouts, specifications, and graphics
• Coordinating all relevant information and liaising with in-house designers, civil and structural engineers, and external consultants where appropriate
• Contributing to planning and building control applications
• Proficiency in Revit is mandatory
• Having a good knowledge of building regulations, planning applications, and construction stages
• Coordinating information and queries with clients and third-party design consultants/suppliers
• Being a self-starter with the ability to work independently
