Job summary

Foster + Partners in London is seeking an Architectural Researcher to uncover insights informing world-leading architecture, design and urbanism projects. • Mapping skills and experience using GIS software are desirable.

Description

As a Architectural Researcher at Foster + Partners, you will play a key role in uncovering insights that inform world-leading architecture, design and urbanism projects. Working closely with project teams and communications colleagues, you'll deliver high-quality research, analysis and content, helping shape informed decision-making while contributing to a practice renowned for innovation, creativity and excellence.

This role is ideal if you want to:

• Explore cutting-edge developments across architecture, urbanism, design and the arts.
• Produce impactful research that supports major projects, publications and strategic initiatives.

What you will bring to the team:

• A degree in architecture, architectural history, theory, or a related discipline; a Master's qualification is advantageous.
• A demonstrable interest in architecture, urbanism, design and the wider built environment, supported by experience conducting research and applying robust research methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Technical proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator is essential.
• Experience with Rhinoceros, 3D visualisation and diagrammatic representation is desirable.
