Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a permanent Architectural Metalwork Draughtsperson / Engineer for a fully remote position. You will produce 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for canopies, balustrades, steel stairs and specialist architectural metalwork products, working from architectural and engineering information and coordinating input from multiple trades.

Start date ideally January, with an earlier start possible.

Qualifications

• Experienced Architectural Metalwork Draughtsperson / Engineer.
• Up to date with current building regulations.
• Able to coordinate and develop drawings from various trade and design inputs.

Job description

A leading architectural metalwork specialist is currently looking for a permanent Architectural Metalwork Draughtsperson / Engineer for a fully remote position. The role focuses on producing 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for canopies, balustrades, steel stairs and specialist architectural metalwork products, working from architectural and engineering information and coordinating input from multiple trades.

Start Date: Ideally January, with an earlier start possible

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Location: Fully remote (work from home)

Hours: Flexible, depending on workload

Duties:

• Produce 2D and 3D drawings for canopies, balustrades, steel stairs and specialist architectural metalwork products
• Create GA and manufacturing drawings
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Coordinate information from multiple trades
• Ensure drawings comply with current building regulations

Requirements:

• Experienced Architectural Metalwork Draughtsperson / Engineer
• Strong AutoCAD 2D and 3D skills
• Up to date with current building regulations
• Able to coordinate and develop drawings from various trade and design inputs

Working Pattern: Site surveys are typically carried out by the client. Very occasional site attendance may be required.
