Job summary

HDR is seeking an Architectural Designer for our London studio. You will contribute to strategy, schematic design and production packages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Applicants should have 2–5 years UK experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and visualization tools. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential for delivering complex social infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• UK planning and building regulations knowledge.
• 2–5 years practical UK experience in social infrastructure projects.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating high level of design awareness.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all project phases from strategy to construction packages.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams under a Project Manager.
• Prepare and edit drawings, models, schedules and images.
• Manage workload to deliver on budget and schedule.
• Apply UK planning regulations and design standards.
• Demonstrate strong design and technical awareness.
• Support social infrastructure and data centre projects.
