Job summary

HDR, based in the United Kingdom with a focus on data-centre projects, seeks a Project Architect for data centres in London. You will lead architectural design and technical development, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• 3+ years' experience working on Data Centre projects desirable.
• Registered Architect.
• Understanding and experience of various building contracts.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building regulations.
• Commitment to collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead layout and detailing on architectural projects for data centres.
• Establish owner/client and internal meetings; participate in reviews with authorities for code compliance.
• Manage design activities and production of design information.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and site visits with Project Manager.
• Review documents for conflicts with other disciplines; perform QA/QC checks.
• Write and edit architectural specifications.
• Coordinate addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders; incorporate changes into documents.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
