Context

SYSTRA is immediately hiring an Architectural Designer for our offices in York, Leeds, or Manchester. Following the successful award of multiple landmark international projects, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Structural Team as we grow our profile in the UK & Ireland and globally. Our focus on the Transport and Infrastructure Sector includes passenger stations, rail depots, and energy-from-waste projects. Missions/Main Duties

• Assist in producing designs, drawings, schedules, and calculations under the guidance of a Senior Technician / Architect, taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with architecture and multi-discipline colleagues to develop organized, integrated design solutions.
• Use industry-standard CAD software (REVIT) proficiently.
• Work towards delivering projects that meet current design, engineering, and safety standards within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Visit project sites as required, supported by senior team members.

Profile/Skills

• BA(Hons) or BSc(Hons) plus a 2-year Diploma (including 1 year of work experience) as a minimum.
• Experience with Autodesk REVIT and a solid understanding of BIM modelling principles.
• Good grasp of the creative design process through all RIBA work stages.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for producing high-quality graphical presentations.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Motivated team player who performs well under pressure and collaborates effectively.
